Screen Print Production Manager

The Setup

Look, we're not your average print shop. We're growing, we're evolving, and we're looking for someone who gets their hands dirty and takes pride in running the tightest ship in screen printing. This isn't just pushing ink through screens – this is about mastering the craft and leading a crew that's transitioning from manual to automated printing, all while keeping that old-school attention to detail.

What You'll Be Crushing Daily

Production Command Center
- You're the captain now. Everything that moves through our shop is your domain
- Master both our manual stations and our shiny new automated gear
- Keep the wheels turning and the shirts flowing with killer scheduling
- Stay on top of supplies like a hawk
- Build and maintain processes that would make Henry Ford jealous
- When machines act up, you're the doctor who makes it all better

Crew Leadership
- Lead by example and show the team how it's done
- Get our crew up to speed on both old-school manual techniques and new automated systems
- Keep everyone safe, efficient, and proud of what they do
- Turn our transition into automation into a masterclass in evolution

Quality Is Your Middle Name
- Every print that leaves this shop better be portfolio-worthy
- Your eye for detail catches what others miss
- You know your colors like a painter knows their palette
- Quality isn't just a buzzword – it's your religion

What You Need to Bring to the Table

- 5+ years in the trenches of screen printing production
- You've led teams before and know how to get the best out of people
- The technical side of screen printing is second nature to you
- You know your inks, your substrates, and your techniques inside and out
- Color matching isn't just guesswork – you're a scientist about it
- When problems pop up, you solve them like a boss

Bonus Points For
- Experience with automated presses and manual presses
- You know lean manufacturing isn't just a fancy term
- You can wrangle production software like a pro
- You've trained others in the dark arts of printing
- You know this industry's standards like the back of your hand

The Physical Stuff
Yeah, this job requires some muscle and hustle:
- Standing all day? No problem
- Lifting 50 pounds? That's your warm-up
- Handling screens and frames? All day, every day
- Detailed work that requires steady hands? You got it

The Scene
- Fast-paced production floor that hums like a well-oiled machine
- A chance to put your thumbprint on how the business grows and evolves
- You'll get friendly with inks and chemicals
- Climate-controlled because we're not savages
- Mix of old-school manual work and new-school automation

The Schedule
Full-time gig, Monday through Friday. Just like FDC, every other Friday off. Sometimes we burn the midnight oil when duty calls, and occasionally we need weekend warriors. We take care of our own with competitive pay and benefits, and as we grow, you grow.

The Bennies
- Salary + Overtime if needed
- Fully paid Health, Vision, Dental Insurance
- Life Insurance Policy
- Every other Friday off just like FDC
- Work with the best god damn design and art team this side of the Mississippi
- Mix of old-school manual work and new-school automation
